sgian dubh jpeg1

We have a sgian dubh knife with grips made from the walnut butts of a Lee Enfield rifle. It’s hand made in Sheffield and the sgian dubh was the traditional military sock knife associated with the Scottish Regiments. This piece is an excellent gift for those with an association with the British Army. Each knife is different because the butt is curved in various ways and extracting wood is very difficult. The Lee Enfield rifle butts made from walnut have been stored from before world war two. You can see it by clicking on the image above.
